Wildflower Meadow

Hi there, Stampin' Friends!  Here is a quick and beautiful card that can be created or recreated in any color card stock you chose.  We recently made this Make n' Take at a workshop in Summer Starfruit.  I also have samples in Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green to show the versatility of using this stamp with white embossing powder, a strip of ribbon and a greeting stamped and punched out with the coordinating punch!

 Quick, easy, and beautiful.  In a short time, you could whip up a whole gift set of cards by switching the colors and/or the sentiment!  It could easily be used for 'Thinking of You', 'Sympathy', 'Encouragement', 'Anniversary', etc.

Ex Libris Christmas Blessings

Hi there, Stampin' Friends!  Today's card is the result of an 'oops'.  I was creating another card, which I will post soon. I was using my Stamp a ma jig to perfectly position my sentiment and when I lifted my stamp to view my stamped image....it was Perfectly Upside Down!!  Upon further 'inspection', I found that I really liked it 'upside' down and made a beautiful card out of my silly mistake.  Don't you just love it when your 'oops' become 'wows'?

 This card turned out to be an elegant card.  The Ex Libris stamp was inked in versa mark, stamped onto Basic Black card stock, and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  The sentiment is embossed in Pewter embossing powder.

 The poinsettia was created by stamping the image four separate times in versa mark on Whisper White card stock and embossing with Pewter embossing powder.  I cut each image out, sponged it with Pacific Point ink, curled the petals with my bonefolder,  layered them with dimensionals, and added a puddle of Tombow liquid glue in the center and covered it with Silver Glass Glitter.

For the inside, I inked up just the 'frame' part of the stamp with my Basic Black marker and stamped it onto Whisper White card stock.

World Card Making Day

A whole day set aside for Card Making!!! It took me most the day to get this card to come together.  I'd work a little, ponder a little, work a little more...one of those days.
I wanted to use one of my favorite stamp sets...Postcard and I also wanted to incorporate my wish for this beautiful world that was created for us to enjoy.  This is what I came up with:

Calm Christmas

Hi there Stampin' Friends!  The Holiday Catalog is full of beautiful and fun new products! Here is a sneak peak at one new stamp set: Calm Christmas.  Ordering begins Aug. 1, 2013.

Stamp Set: Calm Christmas
Card Stock: Very Vanilla
Ink: Versa Mark, Gumball Green Marker, Marina Mist
Big Shot: Framed Tulip Folder, Deco Labels Framelits
Clear embossing powder, heat tool, sponge, liquid Tombow glue

I inked the dove stamp in versa mark; colored only the branch with the Gumball Green marker; stamped onto Very Vanilla cs; covered entire image with clear embossing powder and heat set.  I cut the stamped image out using the largest Deco Label framelit and then sponged with Marina Mist; wipe off the image with a soft cloth to remove excess ink. I traced around the largest Deco Label framelit on Very Vanilla and cut it out with my scissors; mounted the two layers together.  I opened the Framed Tulip embossing folder and applied Marina Mist to the debossed side of the folder with my ink pad; placed a piece of Very Vanilla cs in the folder and ran it through the Big Shot. (It came out absolutely gorgeous) I glued the Deco layer onto the Tulip layer and then adhered the whole thing onto a Very Vanilla card base.  I just love the way this turned out.  No embellishments...but I didn't see a need for any.  It is stunning just the way it is.

Emboss in Color: Loving Butterfly Thoughts of You

Hi there Stampin' Friends.  The butterfly I have created on this card is an example of what you can create with Versa Mark, Stampin' Write Markers and clear embossing powder...I inked the butterfly image in Versa Mark, colored it with Stampin' Write Markers, stamped it and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  You can do this technique with any stamp and any color.  Go ahead...give it a try!
