Faith Not Fear

Hi there, Stampin' Friends!  Have you used the Labeler Alphabet stamp set on pg 156 of the Stampin' UP! catalog?  I really appreciate being able to personalize any card by creating names, phrases, greetings, etc.  This is how Faith Not Fear came to be on my card.  I recently spent some time with a lady who has every worldly reason to fear but the Faith not to!  I wanted to encourage her and pray with her as she is going through a difficult time right now.  We did pray together.  However, I have to tell you, I walked away the one who was encouraged!! WOW! What a strong faith she has trusting God as her Constant Companion, Best Friend, and the One who is in charge of her future...whatever that may be!!

You can click on the photos to make them larger.  Here is the video showing how I create the succulents.  I attached the succulents to the balloons on the die cut and then cut away the balloon strings and the extra balloon portions so they wouldn't show.  The inspiration to give that a try came from my fellow Demonstrator, Lou Kitzelman.  What a lovely idea!  Thank you, Lou!

Silver and Gold and Copper Shaker Birthday

Hi there, Stampin' Friends!  I so enjoyed making the Shaker Card with my Gals!  I have made a few more and will share them in the near future.  Here is one using Silver, Gold, and Copper Foil Sheets and Copper embossing powder.
My original plan was to make a Shaker Mini Treat Bag.  However, when I went to put the treat bag together, the shaker part was too thick and my card stock cracked and split.  I still want to make one of those and might try again.  This is what came of my original plan that didn't work....

 I absolutely love the 'background designer paper'!!!  I used the 'confetti' stamp from the set Balloon Adventures.  I stamped it in versa mark and embossed with copper embossing powder.  It is so rich and elegant looking in real life!  The Happy Birthday (from Birthday Celebration) is also in copper embossing powder...as is the inside of the card, below.  I edged the entire white panel with versa mark and added the copper powder to that too.

Country Livin' Adventures

Hi there, Stampin' Friends!  Today's card uses the stamp set Country Livin'.  I've created this card special for someone special who I'm hoping will appreciate the awesome truck in this set! Do you find yourself needing a card and as you go through your stash, nothing will do for that someone special? I do, often!  So off I went to create my idea of the 'perfect card' to fit the need.

The lighting was not good this morning, unfortunately.  However, it has to go in the mail today so this is the best photograph I could get. I put crystal effects on the windows and the headlamps which doesn't show up at all.  You'll have days like that. :)

Cupcakes and Carousels Adventure

Hi there, Stampin' Friends! I have another balloon card to share with you.  It could be for a Birthday or Thinking of You.

This card comes together quickly when using the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits dies and the Balloon Bouquet punch!  Does the sentiment look familiar and you can't place where it came from?  It's from Hey, Chick.  I used the Stamp a ma jig to change the orientation of the stamp!

Labeler Adventure

Hi there, Stampin' Friends! Today I have a sweet little card to share with you that I made for a sweet little lady....cause Happy does look so very good on her!

The Labeler Alphabet set is quickly becoming a favorite of mine! You can add any sentiment or thought that you are thinking to a card or project.  Balloons aren't just for birthdays.  They can brighten any day!  The balloons are vellum!  I stamped the balloon stamp with Delightful Dijon ink onto the vellum and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. They were punched out with the Balloon Bouquet punch.  I hand drew the smiles on the side that wasn't stamped.
