File Folder Friend

Hi there Stamping Friends!  Today's sample includes the use of a file folder...well, a piece of it anyway.  I love the 'vintage color' of the file folder.  Sometimes it's fun to step 'out of the box' and use something you normally wouldn't use when creating a card.  I started with the file folder layer...stamped the Very Vintage wheel lightly over the entire piece and built on that.  I really struggled deciding what elements to use and how to put them together.  It sat on my desk for a few days and then it came together to look like this...

Thank you for looking.  Please feel free to leave a comment and if you have any questions...ask!

  1. Amazing! That's the very first word that came to mind when I saw your card, RaeDeen. I agree, sometimes a found piece, like your file folder, is enough inspiration to run with. And what a winner you wound up with! Thank you for sharing.
