Woodgrain Dragonfly Dreams

Hi there, Stampin' Friends! Today I have a Make and Take card using the new Dragonfly Dreams bundle. (No horse in this set! lol)  I have a tip to share: When running card stock through the Woodgrain embossing folder, add a piece of vellum card stock on top of your regular card stock. This keeps this deep embossing folder from cutting through your card stock.  In fact, I keep the same piece of vellum card stock inside this folder at all times and use it until it needs to be replaced.

The stamp set Teeny Tiny wishes provides a wide choice of stamps that fit in the stamped frame to fit any occasion!

You may watch the video here.

Thank you for looking and watching! Please feel free to leave a comment and if you have questions, please ask!

Blessings ~

Botanical Roses

Hi there, Stampin' Friends!  I am sooo excited about the new Botanical Builder Framelits!! In today's card, I have used them to make gorgeous Roses!  Yep, you read it right....Roses and gorgeous ones to boot! I used them to 'frame' the Scripture from the new stamp set Rose Wonder.  I love this new set too and it is one that will remain with me whether it is retired or not!

I have created an easel sympathy card.  Here is the front with the card closed:

Here it is open:

Sepia Sympathy

Hi there, Stampin' Friends!  Today's card uses the Hostess set Bloom with Hope.  I stamped it with Black Stazon onto watercolor paper and colored the images with Baked Brown Sugar reinker and an aqua painter.  After the flowers were completely dry, I did a color wash in the background and added some speckles with the retired spritzing tool.

Thanks for looking!  Please feel free to leave a comment and if you have questions, please ask!

In Memory of Victoria

Yesterday Stampin' Up! lost a demo and I lost a precious friend. Victoria's favorite color was orange.  It is only fitting that I created a sympathy card for her husband and family using orange.  I will miss her deeply as will those who knew her as "Ethel", Mom, "Nana", sister, aunt, and friend.  She loved the 3D challenges and was always trying to teach me to make a box or bag of some sort.  This is my idea of 3D....and a loving tribute to someone who came into my life unexpected, shared a piece of my heart,  left unexpectedly, and still holds a piece of my heart...."Love you, Ethel!  Luc"

Cherish today....and those you love.
