Amazing Hardwood

Hi there, Stampin' Friends!  I love the Hardwood stamp.  The possibilities with this stamp are endless.  I have seen so many beautiful cards created with this stamp.  I have put together one of my own beauties!  It has been such a long, cold winter and we are all ready for the blessings of Spring.  The calendar says it is Spring, the robins have returned, and it rained yesterday instead of snowed!  Praise the Lord for His simple blessings of faithfulness.  The flowers and butterflies will come...

The Smokey Slate Hardwood provides a beautiful soft background for flowers and butterflies!  The butterflies were stamped with Black Stazon, colored, punched out, pressed into the Versa Mark pad, covered with clear embossing powder, and heat set, and shaped.  They almost look real!

Card Stock: Smokey Slate, Whisper White
Ink: Smokey Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Black Stazon, Versa Mark, Watercolor Pencils (retired) for butterflies, Pool Party marker for shadow around roses and leaves
Tools: Elegant Butterfly punch, Bitty Butterfly punch, pearls, clear embossing powder, Stamp a ma jig , sponge
