Christmas Flip Card

Hi there, Stampin' Friends! Today I have the card we made at Stamp Club. Some time ago, we had used this same layout for a wedding card.  Changing the color of card stock, stamp sets, and adding texture with a different embossing folder has created a completely different look.

Here is the wedding card made in black and white.
The newest version is made in Black and Crumb Cake.
My lighting is not good and doesn't reveal the true beauty of this card.  Here is another angle...
and close up of the main image...
The whole front panel flips up to reveal the greeting...

The first Stampin' Up! party I attended (over 15 to 20 yrs ago) used the heat and stick powder and glitter.  I was so amazed by it that I ordered everything it took to make that one card. (Am I the only one who does something like that? I'm guessing I'm not alone!) It was a snowman in a window. He was adorable!  However, I never used the heat and stick powder or the glitter because I couldn't remember how we had done the 'technique'.  Fast forward to the present....I have ordered the products again but this time I'm using them and just love the results!  That star is so beautiful in real life!  I will be sharing another card in the near future using the glitter...it really does add a WOW factor! *** If you order product and can't remember how to use it, contact me.  I'd be more than happy to help...don't leave it in the bag or a drawer!

Here are the measurements for the card stock:
Basic Black: one of each:  5 1/2 x 4 1/4,  4 x 1 3/4 (scored at 1/8" on one of the 1 3/4" side), 3 3/4 x 2 3/4
Crumb Cake: 5 3/8" x 4 1/8", 3 3/4" x 1 5/8", and 2 pieces cut at 3 5/8" x 2 5/8".

Here is the video showing how to create this card. You can change up the stamp set, embossing folder, and/or card stock and create a whole new look.

If you have questions, please feel free to ask. Comments are always appreciated!

Blessings,
